Deborah Criswell, physician support coordinator for parent company Hospital Corporation of America, knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in the field of nursing. Wielding more than 30 years of nursing experience, she has devoted 19 years of her life at the Osceola Regional Medical Center in Florida to pursue her passion to help others. As an expansive health care organization that includes 168 hospitals, HCA relies on Ms. Criswell’s work with countless nurses and physicians to provide top-quality healthcare. Guided by compassion, she is inspired to help physicians heal others and seeks to be remembered for her passionate patient care.
Before becoming physician support coordinator, Ms. Criswell pursued a diploma in nursing from St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing. After graduating, she spent 15 professional years as a nurse for Home Hospital in Indiana. Throughout her educational and professional endeavors, Ms. Criswell has built upon her dedication to the health care arena as it manifests itself through honed skills in the areas of troubleshooting and clinical application.
Ms. Criswell attributes her success as a nurse to her faith in God. She supports charitable causes through her membership with the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and various missions involving the American Legion, an organization devoted to supporting U.S. troops and veterans. Ms. Criswell likes to read books and watch movies recreationally, and hopes to retire in the near future.
