She has made a lot of connections and enjoys networking. She received a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix in 2010. Ms. Carter hopes to become a program specialist, helping others in the general public instead of working with government.
Previously, Ms. Carter worked in the Department of Human Services. Her boss received a promotion and she followed her in a child support position, which she ended up retaining long term. She has been within the profession for 21 years. During her free-time, she supports the Hawaii Food Bank and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Ms. Carter’s interests are Hawaiian clothing, walking, reading, and spending time at the beach.
