Celebrating her first year as vice president of human resources at FBF Originals, Mandy Zellmer continues her success with her strengths in counseling, psychology, working with people and her communication skills. Her professional goal is to continue working with the company, expanding and maybe one day work in a college as an adjunct professor. Ms. Zellmer chose this career path after teaching children for 16 years and provided counseling for 14 years before that, but promised her mother that after her children were out of school, she would join the family owned business.

Ms. Zellmer’s greatest accomplishment is her two sons. She is very proud of them and her successful marriage of 38 years. Her professional accomplishment is receiving a master’s degree in education, working with children for sixteen years and receiving a doctorate degree in counseling and educational psychology. FBF Originals was her brother’s company, and Ms. Zellmer took over the business after he passed.

Ms. Zellmer received a Doctorate in counseling and educational psychology from Indiana University, and prepared for her career by doing on-line training, and attending webinars and seminars. Since graduation, she keeps abreast of changes in her profession through her memberships with the American Counseling Association, the National Association of Professional Women and Cambridge Who’s Who. During her free-time, Ms. Zellmer enjoys reading, travel canoeing, water skiing and gardening.
