Initially, Susan Malpiedi became a nurse because she was always interested in healthcare. She works as a liaison between clients and attorneys and has been with the firm for 15 years. She chose this career path because she found the legal aspect very interesting and thought mixing law with science would be extremely interesting and a good field for her. The biggest challenge that Susan has had to overcome is the common challenge of work life and family balance.

Ms. Malpiedi greatest strength is her knowledge of medicine, her perseverance, communication and comprehensive skills, as well as her resourcefulness. In order to assist trial attorney’s understand issues relating to healthcare she has to explain complex medical issues so that they can be precisely and easily understood. Susan also has a very positive outlook on life. Ms. Malpiedi is a firm believer in that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it.

Ms. Malpiedi is inspired most by the passion that she has for healthcare. It is something that she enjoys immensely and she also comes from a background of working women in healthcare. Her mother and grandmother were both nurses. A great deal of her inspiration also comes from the pride that she has for the work that she does, her inner self recognition and the appreciation that she receives from the people she works for. Ms. Malpiedi most wants to be remembered as a good person, as someone who impacted some lives positively and was able to help someone, somewhere, somehow.
