Having stumbled across the construction and home improvement industry, Annette Ortwein became a business development manager with Moen, Inc. 12 years ago. By drawing upon her strengths, including her listening skills and relationship building acumen, she feels that her mentors and her being self driven has contributed to her success. Ms. Ortwein’s professional goal is to continue in the industry and progress into a regional manager position.

The advice Ms. Ortwein can share with the younger generation of women is to find an expert and mimic what they do. Her greatest accomplishment to date was her gradual incline and overall financial success that she has achieved, whilst the biggest challenge she has had to overcome was breaking the mold of the old school mentality. Ms. Ortwein most wantf to be remembered for her knowledge and the image she has portrayed.
