Currently receiving as master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from Wright State University, Katherine Myers also provides technology specialist assistance. She chose this path because she and her son fell in love with technology. Ms. Myers’ biggest challenge is staying up-to-date with technology.

Ms. Myers’ greatest strength is working with families with complex disabilities and having a strong understanding of their needs. Her greatest accomplishment is keeping the department together during difficult times. Now, Ms. Myers’ professional goal is to continue working in her profession for the next five years and then to retire to do volunteer work.

Ms. Myers is inspired by the students, and would want to be remembered as a person who had a passion for helping people with disabilities. She holds membership with the Association on Higher Education and Disabilities, and is a volunteer with the choir at Patterson Park Church. During her free-time, Ms. Myer quilts, crochets, enjoys music, and plays the piano and the organ.
