Rev. Tina Babcock, MDAAC, M-RAS joined Rev. Dr. Wade as an advocate in Sacramento in 2010 and 2011 representing Christian recovery work.  A Master’s Level Addiction Specialist with a B.A. in Psychology, she is also an Ordained Minister under the R & R Resources Group Non-Denominational ministry, an L.A.P.D. Chaplain, former president of the Downtown (Los Angeles) Clergy Council, and has served in ministries reaching out to the homeless, addicted and battered for three decades.  She has worked in the heart of Los Angeles’ Skid Row as a Chaplain and program administrator with the homeless and drug addicts for more than ten years with the Los Angeles Mission, served as Regional Vice President over Rescue Missions in Chicago, Las Vegas, Colorado, and California for City Mission Network, was the director of Battered Women’s Services-YWCA shelter and hot-ine services in San Diego, worked for San Bernardino County Department of Aging and Adult Services working with the poor and medically fragile receiving In-Home-Supportive Services.  Rev. Babcock has also been preaching and teaching the Word of God for more than 40 years. Part of Rev. Babcock’s early years of ministry includes 10 years in Christian Radio and God uses that experience and training under the anointing of the Holy Spirit to make her a powerful instrument when speaking at conferences and other public venues.  God has blessed her with a wonderful husband, Paul Babcock, who has supported her through all the trials of ministry for nearly 40 years.  A proud mother of two grown daughters, she loves teaching parenting classes and helping couples and parents discover God’s awesome plan for their family. Over the years , Rev. Babcock has had the privilege of working with many service providers and have found she enjoys developing leaders. She chose this career to facilitate empowering those who are gifted in the healing arts to become effective and remain healthy themselves as they work with challenging populations.
