Retired administrator with the U.S. Navy, Nannette Reed worked a full 44 years before having honorably served her country within the government defense service. An expert ghostwriter, she provided academic administration for the naval youth education program the last 13 years of her professional endeavors. Initially, Ms. Reed became involved in her profession because her father was a military person, and believes a lot of her successful mentality within her professional and personal lives stems from her mother.

Currently, Ms. Reed is pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Southern Californa. The advice she would give the younger generation of women entering the workforce is to stay focused, moderate, but most importantly be disciplined. As a woman in today’s world, what has contributed to Nannette’s success is her being aggressive and pig headed. In five years, Ms. Reed plans to write a book.
