Caryn A. Schneider possesses more than 13 years of experience in the importation and distribution of wild and farmed salmon, halibut and swordfish. She became involved in her profession after spending 10 years in an entry-level position and being promoted to the senior level. She put herself through night school while working on a full-time basis in order to earn a certificate of special studies in administration. Ms. Schneider currently makes business-to-business sales of fresh fish via phone, e-mail and text message. She is also responsible for maintaining inventory, and overseeing the entire sales process for a leading distributor of wild and farmed seafood products from around the world.
Ms. Schneider attributes her success to her hard work and persistence, as well as staying focused and overcoming sales rejections. She has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience over the course of an illustrious career, and she continues to strive for excellence in her every endeavor. She is a certified teacher of English and foreign languages, and in addition to a Bachelor of Science earned at Northwest University, she holds a graduate certificate of special studies in administration, which she received from Howard University. Looking ahead, Ms. Schneider intends to continue to work in the seafood industry, and help advance women’s causes through education.
