Sylvia Menezes is the director of worldwide recruitment for Renard International Hospitality Search Consultants, a global business that focuses on hospitality recruitment services. A trained hospitality professional, Ms. Menezes specializes in hospitality systems and executive recruitment for some of the world’s leading hotel companies. She is currently responsible for working with luxury hotels and properties as a consultant, finding the right individuals to fulfill the needs of each of her clients.

Ms. Menezes has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Inspired by the experience she gained in the areas of economics and hospitality, she decided to make the most of her knowledge and skills to pursue work in her current role; she sought a position that would allow her to be hands-on. To the younger generation of women entering the workforce Ms. Menezes advises to go with your passion in whatever you do.

She now attributes her success to her ability to continually reinvent herself and keep up with the changing tides of the hospitality world.
