Mrs. Betty Ikeakor started Ultimate Living after seeing the need to teach the mentally challenged how they can be educated and trained in a loving and caring way. She is dedicated to helping her students live on their own and contribute to society, and has a passion and sincerity for helping the mentally challenged. Seeing the achievements these challenged individuals have overcome, and being taught how to live on their own and become independent is something Mrs. Ikeakor sees herself dedicating the rest of her life to, working with clients from ages 16 to 60.

While in school, Mrs. Ikeakor completed a degree in elementary education and upon teaching in the field, she came across mentally challenged children that weren’t properly cared for, so she made the transition to become a special education teacher, as many of the staff she worked with weren’t trained to handle special education children. Through this position and her eagerness, she proved to be a role model, as she was able as a Nigerian woman to train and show others that they can succeed and follow her. Mrs. Ikeakor also has a business and hotel in Nigeria.

In five years, Mrs. Ikeakor sees herself earning a Ph.D. in leadership and training, educating women in politics, and helping them understand their rights. In 2000, the Nigerian Women’s Catholic Organization bestowed upon her the Leaders and Founder award. During her free-time, she enjoys going to the gym, working out with her children, golfing, watching movies, and eating out.
