Initially, Carmen Cutler became involved in her profession because her brother is a psychiatrist. At one point, he was at a seminar, which was on EAP, and incorporating that into psychology practices. He thought of Ms. Cutler immediately, and has referred clients to her for the past three years, as a certified business and life coach at Oak Canyon Retreat.

As an equine assistant psychotherapy provider in Chualar, Calif., Oak Canyon Retreat relies on Ms. Cutler’s expertise in coaching to work about three days a week teaching, building business relationships and leader skills, and shows returning veterans and their families how to get back into and acclimated to society. In five years, Ms. Cutler intends to succeed in EAP and life coaching.

Ms. Cutler received a Bachelor of Arts in business from California Polytechnic State University and is a Certified EAP Professional. During her free-time, she volunteers with Animal Friends Rescue Project.
