For nearly 20 years, Sheri Elks continues as owner and president of the dental company, ToothWerks, Inc. With 35 years of expertise in the dental administrative arena, she provides a full range of dental repair and restoration products and services. Specifically, throughout her work-week, she oversees the overall operations of the business, including technical production and strategic planning. Ms. Elks was certified by the national board of the Dental Laboratory Technology in 1990.

When Ms. Elks was in high school, she belonged to a club where she had to have a technical job. She wanted to work in medicine, but there wasn’t anything available. An adviser suggested she work in a dental laboratory. Now, to keep abreast of changes in her career and network, Ms. Elks holds memberships with Dental Lifeline Network of North Carolina, Nationwide Registers Who’s Who in Executive and Business, National Registers Who’s Who in Executive and Professionals, American Cosmetic Association of Dental Labs, and Worldwide Branding.
