This year, Ms. Johnston is proud to be celebrating the 70th anniversary of Campus Florist, her very own floral gifts and arrangements shop. This remarkable achievement will be commemorated by past and present employees, who see Ms. Johnston as a beloved mother figure in their lives. Although, if it weren’t for these people she loves and have passion for helping with, together, she’d never have had made it this far as an entrepreneur.

Initially, Ms. Johnston became involved in her profession through the influence of her mother, who owned two florist shops in Chicago. Now, she is an expert floral designer, and oversees all aspects of business operations and assists to her customer’s need, hand-in-foot. During her free-time, Ms. Johnston is an active member of Alpha Omicron Pi, and supports local fundraising events.

In five years, Ms. Johnston intends to continue serving her community, as she has for the past 70 years.
