Company: St. Augustine Community School of Performing Arts
Location: St. Augustine. Ga.
Founder and director of the St. Augustine Community School of Performing Arts, Annette Danielson continues to build her success through her burning and inescapable inner-drive. She personally feels a strong need to help these kids, who bare so many challenges, providing them access to music education through customized programs intended to change the way they traverse life. Ms. Danielson’s driving force was having a traumatic brain injury, and after two years of being very sick, she found a connectable way to relate to stroke victims and people with autism.
Ms. Danielson’s professional goal is to expand the university-level of thinking, link people to other states, and offer free music to the undeserved communities and institutions. Her greatest strength is perseverance through multi-tasking, inspired by her Christian faith and the help of her eight children. Ms. Danielson has earned the License Plate Award through St. John’s Cultural Council and was adopted by Flagler College Enactus Team for their Lincoln Museum and Cultural Center projects.
During her free-time, Ms. Danielson plays the piano at the local church and enjoys waling along the beach.
