Laurie Bachran attributes 46 years of success to the support of her friends and family, her caring nature, and her commitment to and passion for maintaining wellness. With an expertise in nutritional counseling, she continues as an independent consultant for Better Health Unlimited in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Through this facet, she consults with clientele about nutrition and promotes good and habit-forming diets. Ms. Bachran became involved in her profession because of her family history of cancer. In her words, “There is a tremendous difference between aging and getting old. We can all live a vibrant, energetic life as we age by maintaining a positive mental attitude!”

Prior to joining Better Health Unlimited, Ms. Bachran worked as a International Director and Trainer for Beneficial International, for Hawaii Pageant Productions, was an Independent Pageant Trainer and Personal Training in Grooming and Interviewing for Miss Hawaii National Teenager Scholarship Pageant. In 1963, she was crowned Mrs. Hawaii, and has since published two cookbooks using her honorary title. From 2009 to 2010, Ms. Bachran earned more than 50 online models through AARP

Ms. Bachran formerly owned Living Foods. She has published two cookbooks and has given seminars on wellness. She has also held workshops for young women.
