Inspired by a chance meeting with a local photographer, Ms. Henderson began her photographic practice as a challenge to her artistic sensibilities and to express her joy of life. She soon established Artistic Life Photos as a creative venture to bring her visual imagery to the public. She specializes in private and corporate parties, fashion shows and personal photography. Ms. Henderson translates her passion for life into stunning images. She has gained a wealth of experience in creative design work as an accredited gemologist, goldsmith and successful jewelry designer.

The most prevalent themes in Ms. Henderson’s work are the natural world and life’s vast opportunities. Her photographs are now available for purchase or rental for residential, corporate or institutional spaces, and for hospitality, retail or entertainment venues. She is also pleased to accept commissions for informal family and pet photos. Ms. Henderson exhibits and sells her photographs in a variety of eclectic venues in Ottawa and the eastern Ontario region. She has expanded her art internationally, and also offers her unique talents to photograph events and will undertake commissions.

Ms. Henderson’s recent exhibitions include: Canadian Film Institute, The Ottawa Archives Gallery, The Ottawa International Animation Festival, The Latina International Film Festival, The Gathering House, Annual Art on the Waterfront Festival and the North Dundas Arts Council Public Libraries.
