Through the inspiration of her family’s background in education, Cynthia Sayenga-Greaux began in the profession 35 years ago. Now, she provides English as a second language education to students through the Virgin Islands – Department of Education, and having been there for 11 years, she continues to grow her expertise in English and Spanish translation. Ms. Sayenga-Greaux attributes her on-going success to being compliant with the rules of the department of education, and to her ability to be firm and fair with students.
Ms. Sayenga-Greaux received a master’s degree in English from the University of Phoenix in 2004. Since graduation, she keeps abreast of her profession through her membership with National Association for the Education of Young Children. During her free-time, she serves as a translator for the Shriner Hospitals for Children. In five years, Ms. Sayenga hopes to continue teaching English as a second language.
