Cassandra Bliss initiated her career in accounting because her mother was in involved in the same profession. And while she swore she would never become an accountant, she found out she was good at it while in college. Through her strong values, morals, and family support, she graduated Central Methodist University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, she began on her career path 14 years ago, and today serves as chief financial officer of Pelopidas, LLC. In five years, Ms. Bliss plans to earn an MBA and become a certified public accountant.

Having been at the advocacy firm for eight years, Ms. Bliss continues to provide them with nonprofit fundraising, capital campaign development, and public affairs consulting. Specifically, she manages 20 different LLC’s, including nonprofits, assists with cash projections, helps with events, and serves as a team player. During her free-time, Ms. Bliss supports The Humane Society of the United States.
