When Marcia Hunter was a little girl, she decided that she want to help people because she was concerned about their emotional needs. She always found satisfaction in guiding people in healing, and became entirely hooked after taking her first psychology class in college. Dr. Hunter proceeded to earn a Master of Science in counseling psychology from Alabama A&M University in 1981, an Ed.S. in curriculum and instructional technology from the University of Memphis in 1986, and an Ed.D. in instruction and leadership from the University of Memphis in 2011.
