Hardworking, dedicated and persistent, Pamela Powers has spent the past 22 years serving Bay Alarm Company. The security business is the largest of its kind in California, and strives to keep communities safe across the state. Ms. Powers started out as a customer service representative, and naturally progressed to her current position as the vice president of training and development. In her role, she is responsible for the growth of the organization’s most important resources: its employees.

The biggest challenge Ms. Powers faced was establishing herself in her extremely male-dominated industry. She has a strong ability to relate to her colleagues, and with her emotional intelligence and reliable nature, she has become a trusted voice among her affiliates. Ms. Powers is also noted for her tendency to find the positives in the negative and for looking at all perspectives. If she could offer some advice to the younger generations, it would be to fight for the things that are important.

When Ms. Powers isn’t working, she enjoys participating in charities and community work. She has made it her goal to be known as someone who helped others and left a good impact on the world. In recognition of her efforts, Ms. Powers is an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association.
