Celebrating more than three decades of entrepreneurship, Dorothy Lucas continues as the owner of Lucas Trucking and Storage. There, she provides storage for trailers, trucks, three-wheelers and recreational vehicles. In her role with her company, Ms. Lucas is responsible for overseeing operations, billing, and renting space to other trucking companies. A natural progression of opportunities led her to this position.

Ms. Lucas is separated from her peers by her excellent service. When people come into the yard to rent space, she is flexible with payments. If someone isn’t paying their rent on time over a long period of time, however, she will lien the space and it will become hers.

As a woman in today’s world, Ms. Lucas attributes her success to her hard work, dedication, and passion for her profession. She also draws from the coursework she pursued at San Francisco State University. When Ms. Lucas isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also supports a variety of local charitable organizations.
