Throughout her long and highly-successful tenure with Okay Industries, Inc., Donna C. Rutola has worn many hats. The leading medical device component manufacturing company offers unsurpassed expertise stamping and machining a wide range of metals, including stainless steels, implantable titanium, and nitinol.  They also offer products to the automotive, industrial, and defense and firearms markets. Ms. Rutola served as a general manager during a critical time in the company’s history, and has since risen to the role of vice president. Her responsibilities in her current position include overseeing key departments, such as sales, purchasing, accounting, and human resources.

In addition to her work at Okay Industries, Ms. Rutola actively works to encourage more young women to enter the field of manufacturing. She acts as a mentor to young female professionals within and outside of the company, and looks forward to continuing her work in this area. In recognition of her efforts, Ms. Rutola was named the VIP Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women in 2014. She attributes her success to her loyalty, innovation, and focus, as well as her ability to build long-term customer relationships.

To prepare for her career, Ms. Rutola has spent more than four decades garnering experience in administration, human resources, inside sales, purchasing, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement and strategic planning. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in secondary education from Southern Connecticut State University. When Ms. Rutola isn’t working, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and reading.
