Skinner, StaciaTitle: Founder, President

Company: Creative Training Solutions, Ltd.

Location: Mount Prospect, IL United States

Stacia Skinner loves both sales and helping people achieve their goals, so it was only natural for her to combine her passions to become a sales training consultant. She feels privileged to have had the opportunity to spend more than 20 years in the industry thus far, including 13 as the founder and president of Creative Training Solutions, Ltd. The company originally started as a franchise of DEI Management Group, and is now a fully independent business that specializes in helping salespeople achieve and exceed their sales goals. Ms. Skinner hopes to help others understand that sales is about more than just selling a product; it’s about giving customers the tools they need to succeed. To accomplish this, she provides customized and interactive training in a variety of areas to ensure the skills taught fit the sales environment of her trainees.

As an additional method of reaching clients, Ms. Skinner recently published her first book, Sell Now!, which is available as an e-book through Amazon. The book provides effective techniques for keeping new business and expanding in the new, difficult market. She is currently working on her second publication. One of the things that make Ms. Skinner so effective is the fact that she practices what she preaches. With experience as a manufacturers’ representative, a consultant to the environmental industry, and within both the retail and publishing sales worlds, she has a deep understanding of what it means to be in this business.

In recognition of her success, Ms. Skinner was honored with the Village of Mount Prospect Shining Star Award, the BBB Complaint Free Award, and the Best of Training Consultants for Mount Prospect Award. She prepared for her illustrious career by earning a bachelor’s degree in speech and communications from the University of Minnesota. Ms. Skinner is currently a member of the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Professional Women, and The International Women’s Leadership Association. She is also committed to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Ride for Hope, which raises funds to spread awareness of ovarian cancer.
