An accountant with more than two decades of experience, Deborah Wilson-Bailey has served Orton Entertainment, LLC dba Craneway Pavilion as a controller for the past six years. The world-class, sustainably-designed event, concert and production facility offers outstanding views of the San Francisco Bay Area and the San Francisco skyline. The beautiful and scenic location is matched only by the inventive programming and infrastructure options available inside, which makes it the ideal spot for all occasions, including corporate meetings, speaking engagements, photo shoots, weddings, art performances and birthday parties.

Prior to joining the event venue, Ms. Wilson-Bailey garnered years of experience in business management and accounting with various psychiatric institutions and property management firms. The biggest challenge she faced was being a woman; she found she had to work twice as hard as a man to be given respect. Ms. Wilson-Bailey’s greatest strengths are being a detail-oriented, team player with a great sense of humor, however, which, coupled with the love and support of her husband, Larry Bailey, have led to her continued success and longevity. She has also discovered the usefulness of planting seeds into men’s heads so that they believe decisions were their own.

Ms. Wilson-Bailey prepared for her career by earning a master’s degree in accounting in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in business management from the University of Phoenix in 1997. As the valedictorian of her class at the university, she spoke before 7,000 people during the graduation ceremony in the San Jose Arena. Ms. Wilson-Bailey is currently contemplating her next endeavor; with her husband’s retirement, it might include moving, downsizing, and giving back to people. She hopes to be remembered as a hard worker who gave 110 percent to herself, her job and her employers. When Ms. Wilson-Bailey isn’t working, she enjoys bowling and spoiling her nine grandchildren as much as possible. She is also an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association.
