Sara Shahsavary had always desired to create an exceptional facility where children can learn and have fun in a safe environment. After more than 260 hours of childcare training, she achieved her goal by opening Happyland Daycare Center. It started out as a single-building facility with two children, and has since expanded to a three-building facility with more than 80 children. Happyland Daycare center exceeds all regulations, and has received a lot of recognition for its cleanliness and for exceeding the educational standards for toddlers. All graduates have gone on to excel at the top of their elementary classes. Ms. Shahsavary finds gratification in the fact that she is making a difference in the community and the future population. She attributes her success to her hard work, discipline, determination and focus.

In preparation for her career, Ms. Shahsavary earned a bachelor’s degree in international business administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  She was inducted into Cambridge Who’s Who in 2006, and is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, SECA, and the University of Texas at San Antonio Alumni Association. Ms. Shahsavary is also charitably involved with Habitat for Humanity and the Ronald McDonald House Charities. When she isn’t working, she enjoys working out, traveling, cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with loved ones.
