With almost two decades of experience with American Airlines, Susan Stevens attributes her longevity to caring about the people she works with, especially the flight attendants. American Airlines and their affiliates serve 260 airports in 50 countries with, on average, more than 3,400 flights daily. Ms. Stevens currently serves the transportation giant as the regional director, and she hopes to continue to support her teams as the company grows to be one of the best air carriers in the world.

Prior to her aviation career, Ms. Stevens served as a nurse for 23 years. She earned a Master in Health Law from Widener School of Law in Delaware, with honors, and a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She considers her greatest accomplishment to be balancing a young family with a full-time and growing career. Ms. Stevens would advise the younger generation to continuously grow and develop, and stay one step ahead of others. She is currently on the board of directors for the National Liberty Museum, and is an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association.
