An expert on adaptability and communications, Jane McGregor started her first business at the age of 21. After 20 years of owning and operating a pet grooming salon, which she enjoyed, she decided to pursue her interest in real estate. Ms. McGregor became a realtor 13 years ago, and worked for Century 21 and Coldwell Banker before joining Five Star Real Estate Leaders. Her position at Five Star Real Estate Leaders enables her to run her real estate business surrounded by other full-time, top-producing realtors. Ms. McGregor also appreciates the fact that they believe in branding the agent rather than the company.

On a daily basis, Ms. McGregor educates her clients on current real estate practices and helps people achieve their dreams. Ms. McGregor finds the field fulfilling, and feels that, with continued referrals, she can continue to thrive. She used to dream about being number one, but she is currently content with being in the top 10 percent of the local agents.

Although Ms. McGregor loves real estate, she wishes the public perception of her job would change. Most people think that realtors make a lot of money for doing nothing, which isn’t the case at all. She explains that realtors have to deal with constantly changing laws and market trends to better serve their clients, and their skills are always being put to the test.

Ms. McGregor is currently a member of the National Association of Realtors, Michigan Realtors, Realtors Who Care, and the Roosevelt Park Planning Commission. She was a member of the President’s Circle at Caldwell from 2013 to 2015, the International Diamond Society in 2011, and the International Sterling Society in 2009, 2010, and 2012. Additionally, Ms. McGregor rescues pets and volunteers at the Noah Project No-Kill Animal Shelter, and is a licensed ham radio operator. She often works crowd and traffic control for many community events.
