After originally working as a nurse practitioner, Betsy Rothley was given the opportunity to lead up business development in palliative care and run the division. She worked at that company for eight years, and was mentored during her time there. Later, Ms. Rothley was approached by her current company, Enclara Pharmacia, to run a sales division, which led into her earning the responsibility of overseeing client relations. As the executive vice president of client relations for one of the U.S.’s largest providers of hospice pharmacy services, she is responsible for overseeing a team that manages the customer experience.

Ms. Rothley considers her greatest accomplishment to be her growth with Enclara Pharmacia. She is always working to get better, and always listens to constructive criticism. Additionally, Ms. Rothley is a strong communicator with an empathetic presentation style; she tries to be engaging with her customer base. In her executive role, she always does what’s best for her customers.

The greatest challenge Ms. Rothley faces is being a woman in a male-dominated field. To help with that, she became a member of Women Business Leaders, where she is mentored by other women. Ms. Rothley is also a member of The International Women’s Leaderhship Association. Looking to the future, she hopes to change the way women present themselves in the corporate world and how they are viewed for succession roles. Ms. Rothley would also like to step into a chief executive officer role someday, and believes that as long as opportunities continue to present themselves, she will always thrive.
