Willing to meet and all challenges that come her way, Catherine Cronin chose to enter the financial services industry right out of college. Her greatest strengths lie in her enthusiasm for approaching new, prospective clients, building rapport, and sharing the benefits the bank has to offer. Ms. Cronin once brought in 25 major clients to the bank she represented.

Early in her career, Ms. Cronin was approached by banks that wanted her to conduct financial planning for them. Thusly, she spent a number of years working in the commercial lending department of Republic National Bank of New York, which offers their clients fixed rate deposits. Ms. Cronin decided to move on, however, and started her own company, Cronin Associates, in 2011. There, she did a lot of consulting work in the area of financial planning for international clients. Ms. Cronin also works as the vice president of international trade finance for Great Western Bank. Over the course of her career, Ms. Cronin has found that being fluent in both English and French is a huge asset. In the future, she hopes to work in a position within the banking industry that allows her to explore more specialized programs to grow businesses. Ms. Cronin is inspired in her endeavors by the experience of running her own business and learning what a client wants and needs from the bank. She prepared for her career by graduating magna cum laude with a degree in chemistry and French from St. Louis University. Additionally, she was honored with a Fulbright Grant, which gave her the opportunity to study in France. Ms. Cronin is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and supports the charitable mission of her local church. When she isn’t working, she enjoys biking, swimming, and yoga.
