Driven by her passion for helping others improve their quality of life, Jennifer Glover decided to pursue a career in medical research. She currently works for Proove Bioscience, a commercial and research leader in personalized medicine. Their goal is to make it possible for physicians to know how a patient will react to medications before prescribing it using genetic testing. Ms. Glover’s greatest strength is her willingness to give and serve others to the best of her capacity no matter what the task, be it patient education, following the guidelines for clinical research trials, or day-to-day patient care. The knowledge that she is making a difference in people’s lives through her research keeps her motivated to keep moving forward.

As a woman in today’s world, Ms. Glover feels that being detail-oriented has contributed to her success. She intends to continue in her line of work, and do more analytical monitoring in the field moving forward. In recognition of her achievements, Ms. Glover was named Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women from 2010 to 2011. She prepared for her career by earning an associate degree in public health from Midlands Technical College. Ms. Glover hopes to be remembered for doing good work and serving others.
