Debra Greenberg has enjoyed a lengthy career with Ernst & Young — one that has spanned nearly 20 years. She acts as a director for the firm, a position that honed her expertise in project and program leadership, project development and strategy, and transformational initiatives that reinvent and polish how work is executed. Ms. Greenberg has a knack for tackling problems in business, and is adept at collaborating with teams to implement solutions to complex internal and client issues. Further, she has a background in banking, and understands the importance of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget with an air of ease that makes both her counterparts and clients feel most comfortable.
Prior to her involvement with Ernst & Young, Ms. Greenberg served as a VP with both The Bank of New York and JPMorgan. She attended the renowned Harvard University, through which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and education in 1975. Additionally, Ms. Greenberg earned a Master of Arts in management, organization development and strategic planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Sloan School of Management.
Although Ms. Greenberg has achieved success in her career, she feels that being a woman in business can be challenging. She considers her values and perseverance to be driving forces behind her achievements, and she stresses young women in her field to identify and rely on the assistance of mentors who are able to act as both advisers and advocates. Moving forward, Ms. Greenberg desires continued professional growth and hopes to be remembered as a person who made a positive impact on her workplace and fellow employees.
