After almost three decades in the institutional investment marketing industry, Catherine Triantis has changed career paths. Now a realtor with TTR Sothebys International Realty, Ms. Triantis is able to pull from a large network gained during her previous international experience, which she feels has contributed to her success. She is skilled at resolving problems, finding answers, listening and networking, which makes real estate a natural fit. Ms. Triantis is licensed in Washington, D.C. and Maryland, and is working on obtaining a license in Virginia. Looking forward, she intends to earn more referrals, create more opportunities and expand her network of contacts.

The biggest challenge Ms. Triantis had to face was when she was in the investment field; as the only woman, she felt the need to prove herself to be heard and taken seriously. She succeeded, though, and through hard work and dedication, ended up becoming the top salesperson om her entire team. In preparation for her career, Ms. Triantis earned an undergraduate degree in business.

Ms. Triantis feels blessed to have a supportive family who motivates her to want more. She is charitably involved with the Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church and the National Cathedral School, and is affiliated with the Asian Real Estate Association of America and the Chevy Chase Historical Society. Ms. Triantis would like to be remembered for being loyal to her clients, as well as being a helpful, kind, and generous person.
