Initially, Ms. Emberlin became involved in the industry after her husband, who has more than 20 years of experience, ventured to open up his own restaurant and bar. She received an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal from Portland Community College Notary Public. During her free-time, Ms. Emberlin supports the Girl Scouts of Southwest Washington and Oregon and The American Red Cross.

Throughout her career, Ms. Emberlin’s inspiration comes from her husband and two daughters. The biggest challenge she faces is the tough and demanding nature of the business; she is constantly learning about the industry and vendor relations, and is always trying to improve the quality of customer service at her restaurant and bar. In the next five years, Ms. Emberlin hopes to continue to grow on both a personal and professional level.
