Attributing eight years of success to working in a strong business environment, and having great support from colleagues and peers, Karen Baswell continues in her sixth year at the law firm, Chaffetz Lindsey LLP. As an associate, she draws upon her expertise in factual analysis, bringing events together, and client cases to provide first-tier litigation and international arbitration services in New York. In five years, Ms. Baswell intends to experience continued growth and success with her firm, while providing clients with continued legal representation.

Throughout her work-week, Ms. Baswell provides clients with legal services and consultation in the areas of international arbitration, insurance and reinsurance dispute resolution, and general commercial litigation. Her interest in the law field began during college. After receiving her two bachelor’s degrees, Ms. Baswell chose to attend law school and it has been a natural progression for her ever since.

Ms. Baswell received a JD at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law through Hofstra University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2007. For the past four years, she has earned the Associate to Watch designation from the Chambers USA. Ms. Baswell keeps abreast of her profession through her memberships with the New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and ARIAS-US.
