For 25 years, Cassandra Savoy has been bringing her enviable skill set and comprehensive educational background to the field of family law. Attributing her success as an attorney to hard work, Ms. Savoy is committed to helping families achieve optimal results in their legal situations. Because of her thorough understanding of legal nuance, as well as her skill with negotiations, she is able to settle cases efficiently and attain the best possible outcome. Diligent in her assistance to her clients, Ms. Savoy practices with strong ethical standards and consistently maintains client trust, garnering referrals in abundance. She advises the younger generation of women entering the workforce to find a good mentor and be prepared to devote time to hard work.

Ms. Savoy started her career out in education as a high school vice principal. Having already earned a doctorate in education, she went on to achieve a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law and pass the Bar exam. An authority in her field, Ms. Savoy has had to navigate the male-dominated law industry, endeavoring to learn law better than her male adversaries. Throughout her occupational ventures, she has proven to be innovative, insightful and articulate, and she is notably able to empathize with her clients without making the situation too personal or difficult to work with. Educationally-experienced, Ms. Savoy’s other considerable academic accomplishments include a Master of Arts from Farleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Arts from Spelman College.

Expertly able to determine what’s important in her work with clients, Ms. Savoy enjoys her career; she grew up in a household where everyone worked, and that’s how she continues to operate. As she continues in her profession, she hopes to be remembered as a caring person. Ms. Savoy retains membership with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority International, an honor society focused on public service. She also belongs to the Garden State and New Jersey Bar Associations, the Association of Black Women Lawyers, the American Association of Parliamentarians, the Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys of NJ, and various other bar associations and legal committees. Ms. Savoy feels that her greatest accomplishment to date has been finding happiness. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling and playing with her granddaughter.
