After managing a local artist for nearly three years, Annette Carriedo decided to put her skills, network and passion to work and start a music management and consultation company. As chief executive officer and founder of Hold You Down Entertainment Inc., she hopes to support young indie artists who are hoping to break into the entertainment industry. Professionally driven by her love for music, Ms. Carriedo is also responsible for forming venues, training, and establishing and building helpful relationships that will benefit her clients in their musical endeavors.

Before her involvement with the music management, Ms. Carriedo spend 15 years in the banking industry, holding director, vice president and supervisor positions for such reputable companies as JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Option One Mortgage Corp. Her love for music started when she learned to play music at the age of nine, and she decided in 2014 to follow her passion and pursue music management as her career. Through her financial positions as well as her current endeavors, Ms. Carriedo has developed significant skills in quality assurance, account management, operations analysis, business strategy, entertainment, needs assessment and management.

Driven by her passion for the work and the artists, Ms. Carriedo is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in music management from Full Sail University, where she is currently involved in their Excellence Program. Her excellence in her field is recognized through her membership with the National Association of Professional Women. Moving forward, Ms. Carriedo plans on continuing to grow her business.
