Owner of GFA Enterprises, Hazel Showell chose her current career path because of her years of experience building her business acumen so she can be able to articulate ideas in a professional way while educating others. As a professional training and coaching consultancy, GFA Enterprises relies on her business administration expertise to both run the company with success and to provide a service only she personally can deliver to her mentees. The biggest challenge that Ms. Showell has overcome was putting her new business together and getting it up and running, while her greatest accomplishment to date has been opening her business while being an adjunct faculty member for Wilmington University, as well as being a recruiter for the university.

The advice Ms. Showell would like to give women just now entering the work-force is to always give their best in each task assigned, as she has seen a number of young folk do just enough to get by. Her professional goal is to get her business up and running, and is inspired by her faith in God, living by the Golden Rule, and enjoying helping others be the best they can be through educating them. She most wants to be remembered for being a caring person that educated others. She participates in Delta Sigma Theta and works as a recruiter at a university. During her free-time, Ms. Showell enjoys singing, fishing, bowling, and being active in her church.
