Drawing upon four years of experience in her current job, Julie Diaz continues to reach out to children and adults with various illnesses through her work as a certified health coach for Your Wellness Champion Health Coaching. She attributes her occupational success to her overall passion for health and helping people, along with the considerable knowledge of holistic cures and nutrition she gained during more than 20 years of research and personal practice. Specializing in thyroid disease, Ms. Diaz is responsible for coaching and consulting clients, developing courses and presentations, writing and distributing a newsletter, composing posts for blogs and websites, and acting as a citizen journalist for the Natural News Network.
Currently, Ms. Diaz is developing a program to help people struggling with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis learn how to regain their energy, heal their digestive system, prevent and treat thyroid nodules, support their brain health, manage weight, maintain their beauty, and much more. From a young age, she was interested in researching ways to help others and cure diseases. When Ms. Diaz was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, she decided to try natural cancer cures before receiving a biopsy. After several weeks of natural therapies and healthy food options, she found that her nodules had shrunk to one-twelfth their original size. Ms. Diaz considers the highlight of her career to be when her clients tell her that her custom program is working and their thyroid nodules are shrinking as well.
Educationally-focused, Ms. Diaz earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, following an associate’s degree in computer science from Thames Valley State Technical College. She has also achieved certification as a health coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In order to remain engaged in her professional community, Ms. Diaz belongs to the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, the Gluten Free Society, and various alumni organizations. Looking ahead, she hopes to be a published writer and continue her work in the health and wellness industry by conducting workshops and speaking locally.
