Passionate about helping the church, Veronica Cope McFalls celebrates two years as the financial secretary for First Full Gospel Baptist Church after retiring from a 30-year career in special education. While living in South Carolina, she managed all the bills for a church construction project. After moving to Arizona, her local church (of which her husband is the assistant pastor) found out about her background and assigned her to manage their bills as well. Devoted to her faith, Ms. Cope McFalls believes that God sent this career to her and keeps her going throughout her endeavors.

Ms. Cope McFalls earned a master’s degree in early education and elementary education in 1978 and, consecutively, a master’s degree in science and education in 1985. After leaving her initial education career, she taught at a charter school in Arizona for a couple of years. Inspired by her love for others, Ms. Cope McFalls hopes to enjoy retirement, help younger women, and continue to devote time to her family.

Motivated by God, who keeps her going, Ms. Cope McFalls believes her greatest accomplishments to be raising two successful sons and her ability to respect people, show love and help others. She also took on raising her sister’s daughter after her sister passed away. Compassionate and interested in reaching out, Ms. Cope McFalls hopes to ultimately be remembered as an advocate for peace. In her free time, she enjoys reading and learning about health.
