LeVetta Reliford is considered by her peers as a dedicated, resourceful and educated professional, with a proven ability to generate and monitor policies and practices that promote a safe learning environment. Having been retired as a chair woman of the Radiologic Technology Department at Drexel University, she continues on with 34 years of experiences as a radiology consultant. And expert in diagnostic and cardiovascular imagine, she previously oversaw the operations of associate and bachelor degree programs in radiologic technology.
Initially, Ms. Reliford became involved in her profession after starting out as a premedical student; she did not enjoy that program and subsequently switched to radiologic sciences. She believes her success stems from her passion for the profession, and is now in the pursuit of earning a Ph.D. at Grand Canyon University. Ms. Reliford has previously earned a master’s degree in radiologic sciences from Midwestern State University, and a bachelor’s degree in health care administration from Ottawa University.
Aside from her current educational pursuits, and having earned a master’s degree in 2001, Ms. Reliford kept abreast of changes in her profession through her memberships with the Pennsylvania Society of Radiologic Technologists, American Society of Radiologic Technologists, The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and Association of Image Education in Radiologic Sciences. During her free-time, she supports The Philadelphia Society. In five years, Ms. Reliford hopes to have earned a Ph.D.
