Even after 35 years of vocational work, Veronica Murray still gets excited when helping bring a child into the world. Garnering 12 years as a registered nurse with Brookdale Hospital. Ms. Murray feels that her greatest professional strengths are in pediatrics and labor and delivery. Inspired by her love of life and devotion to God, she continues to do good work in the field of nursing and hopes to eventually retire and educate teenagers on pregnancy.

Inspired by her mother at a young age to pursue a nursing career, Ms. Murray went on to earn a Master of Science in nursing as well as a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She feels that education is important to career success, and encourages young women entering the professional sector to be always willing to learn. Ms. Murray also values determination and focus as career contributors, and she advises others to stay on track and not get distracted from their goals.

Looking forward, Ms. Murray hopes to be remembered as someone who cared, gave back and always saw positivity in those around her. She supports others through participation in the Association for Women’s Health, Obstetrics and Neo Natal Nurses, the Child Fund and Compassion International. In 1992, her excellence in the nursing industry was recognized when she was named nurse of the year by the National Association for Home Care and Hospice. Ms. Murray is also a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.
