Candice Koral is the President of Koral & Company – a firm specializing in fundraising and development for schools and other not-for-profits for over fifteen years. Her list of clients is long and her work includes executing record breaking Annual Giving and Capital Campaigns, producing award winning Annual Reports and CAIS re-accreditation self-studies, as well as working with Boards to create and oversee long term Strategic Development plans.

Candice has led statewide conference workshops on a wide range of topics, including “Getting Big Results from Small Development Shops,” “No More Phon-a-Thons” in effort to stop calling and raise more, “100% Participation” presenting a false positive for Annual Giving Campaign success, “Raise More By Doing Less” at the California Charter School Conference in March 2014, and topics on UCLA’s Graduate School of Education in “Everything You Need to Know About Fundraising.” Her roots are in behavioral psychology and business, where she honed new product development and direct marketing principles that she brought in groundbreaking fashion to not-for-profit Development. Her undergraduate and graduate degrees are from UCLA, where she was a featured speaker through the Graduate School of Education’s Development Day – Everything You Need to Know About Fundraising. She has also lectured through the Business School while in the for-profit world.

Candice and her team are committed to ongoing professional development – continuing to sharpen their skills and bring newest and best practices to the table for clients every year. Recent professional development engagement includes attending Stanford University’s SSIR Non Profit Management Institute, CASE/NAIS Annual Conference in Washington D.C. , Stanford’s SSIR 2014 “Social Media on Purpose” conference, CASE Western Region Annual Giving Conference “Meeting of the Minds,” and Cultural Giving Trends by increasing the outcomes of targeted appeals. She has sat on a number of non-profit Boards, including her current seat on the new Los Angeles independent school, Beacon School for Boys. As well, Candice is known for her passion for education, her innovative and unique approaches to not-for-profit funding, and for record breaking Campaign outcomes.
