Celebrating seven years as law enforcement officer for the Federal Reserve Board in the District of Columbia and an overall career of 10 years, Alexis Wilkins is dedicated to her own professional development within law enforcement. Pursuing a life-long goal, Ms. Wilkins earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and committed her career to safely helping others. Through her work with the Federal Reserve Board, she greets workers, secures the building, ensures there is no unauthorized activity and prevents future attacks. 

When Ms. Wilkins first entered law enforcement, she immediately wanted to branch out and explore different opportunities within the field. She earned a master’s degree in emergency service management from Columbia Southern University in 2015, and is now a law enforcement instructor with authorization to teach new recruits. In the long term, Ms. Wilkins would like to explore emergency management or direct a school security team. Dedicated to advancement within her field, she maintains a membership with the International Association of Emergency Management. In her free time, Ms. Wilkins enjoys playing football and basketball.
