Former United Services Automobile Association property claims manager Pamela Madden has continually valued serving others and remaining determined in the face of challenges. Raised in a matriarchal household, Ms. Madden was taught by her mother to persist in spite of the odds, do her best, and self-advocate. Influenced strongly by this upbringing, she went on to succeed in the male-dominated industry of field adjustment, drawing upon her dedication and compassion.

After earning a degree in political science, Ms. Madden secured a position with GEICO and got her professional start in the industry. She proceeded from there to work for Aetna, Hartford, and ultimately USAA, where her specialized insurance skills and experience were used to further their company goal of providing military members and families with benefits. In addition to her educational and professional backgrounds, Ms. Madden is a certified senior claim law associate.

Ms. Madden, now retired, is passionate about the advancement of women within the field and would like to implement programs to help them succeed. She is proud to have inspired her daughter, who she raised herself, to pursue higher education and a career in insurance. Motivated by her passion to help others, Ms. Madden supports children’s shelters and St. John Baptist Church. She finds it rewarding to help people and would like to be remembered for the positive impact she has had on people’s lives. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, martial arts, cooking and traveling.
