Passionate about holistic health and fitness, Gloria Minney continues to make strides in the alternative health industry as owner of Alpha Light Therapies. At Alpha Light Therapies, Ms. Minney is dedicated to providing clients with opportunities for massage therapy, reflexology, Reiki, aromatherapy and alternative medicine. “I just really care about humanity,” she says, explaining that her business undertaking stems from love and compassion.

In preparation for her professional endeavors, Ms. Minney earned a Master of Science in physical education, recreation and dance from the University of Oregon. She went on to train as a holistic health practitioner at New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, through which she gained theoretical and practical knowledge of massage, hydrotherapy, reflexology, nutrition, and other relevant topics. She is also a Reiki master and brings her knowledge of healing techniques to the industry. Drawing upon 50 years of experience in education, it is now her goal to develop a healing center.

Through involvement with the American Massage Therapy Association, the International Reiki Association and the local gem society, Ms. Minney continually participates in the holistic health field. Along with her professional legacy, Ms. Minney hopes to be remembered as a good mother and grandmother. She invests her free time in her artwork.
