Eight years ago, Donna Campbell joined the Town Creek Fire Department as a photographer. One day, there was a fire and the department needed help, so she helped. There was a need for EMT workers in her town, so she decided to pursue her current career. Now, Ms. Campbell is chief fire officer with Town Creek Fire Department, as the highlight of her career is running more than 1,400 rapid-response calls.

Ms. Campbell is currently writing three books: ‘One Must Survive,’ which is a novel dedicated to her father’s service in World War II; the second book contains several interviews and photographs of famous country singers of the 1970s and 1980s; and the third book is compiled of several call logs to emergency medical technicians. Ms. Campbell completed 128 hours and rotations with the ambulance and the emergency room in 1991.
