Her passion for fraud research began when she undertook a specific investigation that unfolded into a multi-state project. Dr. Schwartz soon thereafter changed gears professionally, having previously dreamed of owning a free family therapy clinic.
In 1987, Dr. Schwartz achieved a Ph.D. in education from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to pursue her occupational ambitions. Dr. Schwartz’s career is rife with accomplishment; notably, she was asked in 2005 to allow the U.S. Department of Justice to videotape her presentation, ‘Psychology of White-Collar Criminals’ for use on Justice Network. Committed to promoting the power of good, she attributes her success to her humanitarian ambitions and spiritual underpinning. Dr. Schwartz is also the bestselling author of “Last Summer with Oscar,” a book chronicling her golden retriever’s struggle with cancer.
