Celebrating 25 years in women’s helth and psychology, Dr. Shahnoz Rustamova continues to provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care in New York with Central Park Medical Practice. There, she specializes in vaginal reconstructive surgery, urogynecology and reproductive endocrinology. Dr. Rustamova is proud of her work in helping women feel beautiful and healthy, and has never felt the urge to move-on to a different field of medical care.

Initially, Dr. Rustamova became involved in her profession because she came from a family of doctors, so she grew up around the field. She started in the field at the age of 16. Eventually, she received an MD from Samarkand State Medical Institute, having pursued an internship and residency at Jamaica Hospital. In five years, Dr. Rustamova intends to add another office or two and bring another doctor on board.

Since graduation, Dr. Rustamova keeps abreast of changes in her profession through her memberships with ISCGYN and the American Medical Association. During her free-time, she provides support to the American Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, and several Tibetan organizations.
