As Angela Floyd grew to become one of the youngest principle dancers with The Knoxville Ballet Company and head majorette with The Pride of the Southland Band at the University of Tennessee, many doors began to open.  Not only has her choreography been seen for years in front of 107,000 people at Neyland Stadium, but she also choreographed the Grammy Award winners “The Impressions” for their tribute to Curtis Mayfield on the NBC Tonight Show with Jay Leno and many years with the “Seventeen Magazine” fashion shows. In addition, Ms. Floyd was selected by The City Ballet/Tulsa Ballet and The Moscow Ballet to be their Children’s Rehearsal Coach.

Ms. Floyd’s family and she pride themselves on offering students and parents the best quality facility, instructors, and office personnel. The Angela Floyd Schools are pleased to have unprecedented customer satisfaction. Dance and music is her life and passion to share this with others. Angela Floyd Schools were founded in West Knoxville in 1997.  They now have two convenient locations in West Knoxville and North Knoxville, each offering dance and music lessons for ages 2-Adults.  At AFS, they emphasize several fundamentals to help their students succeed.
